The current production capacity at our Elkton, Maryland facility is 20,000 gallons of Vanadium Electrolyte (VEL) per month. With ample room for expansion, we are well-positioned to significantly increase output as future demand grows.

Riverside Specialty Chemicals is one of the few companies worldwide, and one of the companies in the United States, currently producing commercial quantities of Vanadium Electrolyte (VEL) for use in Vanadium Redox Batteries (VRBs). As with all materials produced by RSC, VEL is manufactured at our Elkton facility under strict ISO 9001:2015 standards.
